Introductory Talks

Come to a face-to-face talk about the Middle Way, introducing the ideas, the practice, and the vision behind the society.

  • What is the Middle Way?
  • How can it provide a framework for meditation and other practices?
  • How does it relate to Buddhism and other religions?
  • How can it provide an understanding of ethics?

All welcome. No previous knowledge expected.

Talks will be given by Dr Robert M Ellis, founder and chair of the society. They will include refreshments and the opportunity for questions and discussion. Free, but donations will be requested to cover the hall hire and cost of refreshments.

Provisional dates for upcoming introductory talks are given below. These have yet to be finalised, and more details will be put up when they are organised. In the meantime, if you are interested in helping to organise an introductory talk in your locality, please contact robert (at) middlewaysociety.org

  1. Please could you let me know if are running the ‘Balance your life’ classes every Thursday at West Malvern village hall?

    Regards

    Vivienne

  2. Hi Vivienne,
I’d like to run them, but my initial attempt at doing so got too few people to be viable. I assume that might be because there are a number of other meditation classes in the area. There is one other person I know of who is still interested, so if you can find a couple more people then I would be willing to re-start them and have another go.
