We are social animals who can’t help relating to each other in groups, but the dogmatic authority of groups over the individual an also be a major condition working against integration in our lives. Here Robert M Ellis, founder and chair of the Middle Way Society, explains how groups can often be dogmatic, and how we can find a Middle Way in relation to them. This talk was originally given on a retreat in August 2014, and is followed by discussion including Barry Daniel, Martin Blundell, and John Darnbrook.
